Anybody is welcome to join in and simply run their own session as opposed to what is planned. The plan below acts as a guideline only. Please read the information at the bottom of the page regarding track etiquitte and membership.

Track Membership.

If you intend using the track on a regular basis, it is advised that you sign up for your track pass. To do this, you need to visit the eThekwini Park, Recreation & Culture Unit – North Beach Office at 133 Lower Marine Parade. Their offices are above the police station next to Durban Surf Life Saving Club. The membership is for 12 months and costs about R170.00. You may call ahead for info on 031 322 4367.

Track Etiquette.

- Warm up and cool down moving clockwise on the outermost edge of the track.

- Run your sets and recoveries counter-clockwise.

- Run our sets within the confines of a single track.

- Don’t change lanes.

- When ending a set. Slow down and move to the very right of your lane to allow other athletes that may be using the same lane to pass. Don’t simply step out of your lane.
